Food Thinkers Lunch Club at Linacre College

The IFSTAL programme, the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food, the ECI Food Group and Linacre College are pleased to announce the launch of a fortnightly term-time lunch for staff and graduate students across Oxford University working on food and related issues.

There are many people working directly or indirectly on food across the University’s staff and student body, and across a vast range of disciplines. We are keen to provide a platform through which we can regularly meet and exchange ideas, as well as get to know each other.

The Food Thinkers Lunch Club, hosted by Linacre College, hopes to provide such a platform - a place for people with like-minded academic interests to gather and eat together in a convivial and relaxed atmosphere. The cost of the lunches is being borne by the IFSTAL programme, the Oxford Martin Programme on the Future of Food, the ECI Food Group and Linacre College.

Please come and join us!

Each lunch will be limited in space to 20 people – 10 students and 10 academics. Sign-up will operate through Eventbrite (see links below), with an additional email and link sent out at least 10 days in advance of the lunch. If demand for this is high, then we will seek to limit individuals to no more than 2 lunches per term.

The first of these lunches will take place on Monday the 8th of February from 12:30-2pm in Linacre College's Private Dining Room.
