Grow Green: Farming for a Plant-Strong Future

At the intersection of academia, policy-making, and agriculture, ‘Grow Green, Farming for a plant-strong future’ is a one-day conference for people with professional and or academic interest in sustainable agriculture, food production and climate change.

The conference programme has been carefully curated to examine the challenges of a shift towards increased plant farming as well as exploring the benefits for public health, the environment, and animals.

Through a series of keynotes, panel discussions and lightning presentations the programme addresses the implications of this shift for farmers, land managers and rural communities and explores how we can work together to manage the challenges we face. We will consider how we can tend our land more effectively to provide for our changing diets, benefit our farming communities and protect our natural environment.
