Join us for the annual IFSTAL Public Lecture 2018:

Collaboration for Impact by Judith Batchelar

 

LIVESTREAMED LECTURE: Judith Batchelar, Head of Brand at Sainsbury’s and Member of the Government Food and Drink Sector Council.

 

You are warmly invited to the IFSTAL (Interdisciplinary Food Systems Teaching and Learning) programme annual public Christmas lecture taking place on Thursday 6th December, 5:45pm for a 6pm start. This will be live in London, with a livestream to the Gilbert Room at Oxford’s School of Geography and Environment.

 

Judith will speak on, ‘The grand challenges facing our Food and Drink system are huge and varied. In addition to this the interdependencies are complex and evolving. The very nature of these challenges means that they require collective action including standards, interventions and reporting at both a global and local level. This presentation explores some of the more interesting case studies in this area’.

 

We have a discussant at Oxford, Dr Brian Cook, from the Nuffield Department of Primary Care Health Sciences at Oxford. Prior to joining Oxford, Brian worked to help establish the Toronto Food Strategy.

The talk will be followed by a drinks reception.
