Two environmental stewardship internships are currently available from the Sir Peter Elworthy Grant Programme:

GIS Analysis and Agriculture Graduate Internship 2014

International Agricultural Returns Internships 2014

This Grant Scheme makes funds available for student work and research relating to environmental stewardship, with a special emphasis on agricultural and climate change related work.

Projects will be carried out in a range of organisational types, ranging from private sector organisations (e.g. summer internships), in NGOs, and in the educational and public sectors.
The Grants generally support educational and land management/land stewardship institutions associated with the Elworthy family of Craigmore Station, with the Craigmore Sustainables investment management organisation, and with the Agricultural Resource Community.

The aim of the Grant Scheme is to help young people all around the world support resource stewardship projects.  In so doing they will develop valuable skills, as well as friendships across the Grant community, that will help them in their careers.

The Grant Scheme is designed to create publishing opportunities for research generated while undertaking the Grants. The administrators of the scheme will from time to time grant prizes for work which best exemplifies the aims and values of the Scheme. Most Grants are targeted at senior or graduate level students.
