Rajiv Narayan

Rajiv comes to the topic of food security through obesity and nutrition policy.

In past years he's worked on an urban farm in Milwaukee and completed research projects on obesity legislation in Argentina, food stamps in California, the racial dynamics of obesity policy in Southern States, and fat acceptance activism in California.

Rajiv is also interested in representations of food and obesity, an interest he's explored through contributions to Upworthy, The Huffington Post, and Policy Mic.

His current research concerns the conception and monitoring of goals in public health campaigns.
