Raymond Pierrehumbert’s research interests relate to climate change include the nature of the Anthropocene, assessment of the relative impacts of carbon dioxide vs. short lived greenhouse gases (such as methane) and climate ethics.  He has studied the climate impacts of beef production, and is currently working on extending the analysis to other animal-related food sectors.
