We are seeking a full-time Postdoctoral Research Assistant to join the Livestock, Environment and People (LEAP) project at the Department of Zoology in Central Oxford. The post is funded by the Wellcome Trust and will be fixed-term until the end of November 2021.
Reporting to Dr Jamie Lorimer (School of Geography and the Environment) and Dr Tara Garnett (Food Climate Research Network) the postholder will take responsibility for delivering the social science components of this large, interdisciplinary project. Work in this package is focused on understanding and enabling change in the food system through the analysis of the social and political-economic context in which food system decisions are made. They will work collaboratively with other researchers in the programme, maintain productive relationships with external partners, including NGOs and commercial enterprises, and contribute to activities to engage the public in the research.
