Farming, the First 12,000 Years

Date: Saturday 20 July, 12.00 - 16.00 & 18.00 - 19.30

Location: Pitt Rivers Museum, Oxford

Join us for the opening of our new trail and explore how farming has shaped peoples' lives over the last 12,000 years. There'll be interactive demonstrations, hands-on activities, guided trail tours and more! Unlock the secrets of farming's past and discover how we can shape its future.

All ages are welcome to the drop-in daytime event. We'll be joined by our partners from the Museum of English Rural Life, Good Food Oxford and the Oxford Food Bank. The full programme of events can be found here.

In the evening, over 18s are invited to come and meet the people behind TOAD gin. You'll have a chance to try their award winning spirits and to explore our new trail after hours. This event is free to attend but there are limited spaces. (Booking via Eventbrite.)
